Steve Barkhouse founded Amsted Design-Build in Ottawa, Canada in 1989. In that time, it has become the city’s most recognized remodeling company, accepting numerable local, provincial, national and international awards. It is a full-service design/build company with design, sales, finance, marketing, service, and construction departments and models its operating system on the EOS model. In 2019, Amsted developed a boutique custom home business vertical.
Steve proudly accepted the Remodelers Advantage IMPACT Award in 2018 and was a finalist for the Fred Case Entrepreneur Award that same year. He has worked hard toward achieving a work/life balance for more than a quarter century; he truly loves the remodeling industry and is willing to openly share his successes, failures. tips, tactics, and techniques.
